Today was the first time, back on my bike, since my car crash in July. Suffice to say, it felt fantastic moving along under my own power again (other than walking, of course!). Suffice to say, I feel I have my mojo back.
Today also marked the first time I’ve ridden to work. I am planning to make this a regular thing. Time to start shedding those pounds!

HI Stephen!
Nice to meet you. I read your About page and sounds like you are preparing for an exciting journey! Trains are pretty exciting, but I’ve always been a plane geek! Not that I love flying so much, it can be long, tedious and ugly these days. Trains definitely much more fun in that respect.
I’ve met a few people along the way who’ve biked their way around. Like a Dutch couple making their way through Southeast Asia. Met them while in Laos. Very exciting! It’s going to be a life changing experience.

Thanks for the comment, Frank! I’m beginning to realise how daunting it is. But I’m determined! So can’t wait to start, though. In regards to trains, I’m planning to do a bit of railfanning as I go along. When I finish this trip, I’m certainly not going to want to go back doing a normal job. But I’ll have plenty of time to re-invent myself. 🙂
