Tomorrow (the 20th of May), I start my bicycle ride, from Sydney to Melbourne, in support of the Cure for MND Foundation. Roughly 1250km of fantastic cycling, for a charity that means a lot to me. The aim is to raise AUD$2000 (and hopefully a lot more!). MND (Motor Neurone Disease, or ALS), has no cure. Once diagnosed, life span is usually no more than 5 years. It is generally a death sentence.

I plan to give myself three weeks to cover the distance. This includes about 6 to 7 rest days. I’ve put together a little route, which is below, and I’ve also included a (planned) itinerary.

I plan to arrive, at the MCG, on the afternoon of the 10th of June, two days before, Big Freeze 3 – the big Cure for MND Foundation fundraiser.
I will be posting regular updates to Twitter, Instagram, and my Facebook page, and the links can be found at the top right of this page. I would really appreciate it if you could all throw in a bit of money, on the above donation page. Let’s all band together and help fight this beast, and one day hopefully it will be given a knock-out punch!
