Today was a rest day. I was actually up much earlier than I expected. I wandered around for a while, Ungarie is a very small town, with very few shops in it. Hardly any, to be honest. I walked up and down the main street, before spending an hour or two in Bing Walder Park, where the Big Sherrin is located.

A much better photograph of the Big Sherrin.

Early afternoon, people who would be taking part in Pedal Cure 4 MND started turning up at the bowling club. Some of their bicycles looked much lighter than my heavy touring bicycle! Young and old turned up. A few beers were had, once the bar at the bowling clumb opened. Later that evening, after we all stuffed ourselves with food, we all received our cycle jerseys and off-bike shirts and introduced ourselves.

Later that evening, there was a band at the pub. So, it was going to be a noisy night. Thankfully, it didn’t go too far beyond midnight. Tomorrow, it was time to step outside my comfort zone and ride with a large group of people.
