Recently, I was asked by my employer to change my shift, from Monday to Friday, to Tuesday to Saturday. This would give Sunday and Monday as my days off. Yesterday started out like any other Monday. I didn’t have anything pressing to do. It was also a nice, sunny day. I decided to go out and drive somewhere. After leaving home, I drove around for a few minutes. With good weather, and good visibility, I decided to head for the airport for an afternoon of plane spotting. However, after about ten minutes, I found myself in a bit of a prang.

At the moment, understandably, I’m a little nervous getting behind the wheel of another car, to say nothing about getting on a bicycle. As to whether I will in the future, I don’t know. At the moment, it’s just a precautionary measure. About a month after my first car crash, back in 1991, I had my first epileptic seizure (I’ve only ever had three). So, at the moment, I am understandably nervous. If, indeed, my driving and cycling days are over, I have, this very afternoon, come up with another crazy idea of travelling around the world. For the time being, though, I’m keeping this under wraps. 🙂
Stay tuned. 🙂
